The knight looks like a French Knight to me but, I could be very wrong on this! I wouldn’t count on them being “jaques”. Not ebony since you can see lighter wood where the finish has worn off the black Q. Yeah, these don’t look like Jaques at all, but I can’t say either what they do look like. You can’t identify Jaques sets by the crown marks on rooks and Knights as lots of makers did that.
